Comments:
Folks HR (used to be called Allié RH back in the day) is a solid solution for Canadian SMBs.
Their support is GOLD and this is honestly one of the key reasons to switch. If you are tired of having to deal with long wait times between tickets, Folks HR is the way to go.
Pros:
- bilingual HR software, it's a must for a company operating in Canada and Quebec. - great KPI module to help managers reach their HR goals - timesheet PER project (what a lifesaver!) - great value for money
Cons:
- no e-signature and that's a bit annoying but we can absolutely manage without it - the demo is a real demo not a trial

A great HRIS for a small organization
Comments: Compared to other HRIS that we've used, set-up was easy, maintenance is a piece of cake, the price is incredible and customer support is superb.
Pros:
Folks HR does everything our organization needs it to do at a very reasonable monthly cost. The set-up was relatively easy and their customer support is excellent.
Cons:
Nothing that I like the least, in fact, the opposite. They keep improving the platform and sometimes that means that training tools are a bit out of date, but a quick email to customer support gets things straightened out quickly.

Comments: Overall I am pleased that our organization moved to an online HR system that is as robust as Folks HR.
Pros:
After using the Folks HR system for the first 20 minutes, it was easy to understand how to use the system. It takes me 5 to 10 minutes out of my week to enter my informaton into my timesheets.
Cons:
The only thing I would critique is when the user enters their Timesheet hours into the text boxes. The text boxes seem to be slanted towards the right of the dates on top. Perhaps, this can be straighten out.

I dread using Folks
Pros:
Unfortunately, there is nothing I like about this product.
Cons:
This tool drives me up the wall. Have used it both as an employee and a manager. - No SSO support, annoying email "2-factor" login. - Very clunky UX unclear where I will find different functionality. - UI is not engaging, it's not "fun" to use. I don't feel like I am getting any work done. - I work in a fully web-app environment, this is the only app that routine fails to load. - Routinely fails to save input information making me have to review everything numerous times, save a draft outside of the tool in case of failure.

Great program.
Comments: At first it made me anxious, I thought i was going to be complicated, once I started to use it in a very short time. I saw it was so easy and efficient.
Pros:
It is fast and efficient and most of all easy to use
Cons:
I can't say that I have anything not to like, it is an easy program. I just need to take time to show other workers that I supervise how to use the system, when or if they get a computer/tablet, etc. Some workers do not own, cellular, tablets, computers. Therefor I need to submit their work time.

FolksHR - A true HR lifesaver
Comments: From initial contact to building our platform, training and launch process have been seemless. The professionalism of the team has been great along with the personalized training and coaching support have been top notch.
Pros:
FolksHR is very user friendly and allows our company to to track all aspects of our employees life cycle.
Cons:
No communication thread/reporting to the administrator when a supervisor grants or denies a vacation/absence request.

Comments: I have had no issues using Folks HR. I do wish there was a mobile option.
Pros:
Easy to follow, everything is well laid out.
Cons:
Doesn't track accumulated sick and vacation time, only what can be taken over the course of a full year. Cannot see in real time. Would like an app for it.

Pros:
The ease of adding hours to the timesheet and approving vacation time.
Cons:
Haven't yet figured out a way to differentiate between paid vacation time vs unpaid vacation time, they both seem to drop down the total balance.

Comments: So far so good, I can keep track of how many time-off, sick days I have without asking our Admin Leader.
Pros:
Easy to navigate, pretty much self-explanatory if you take the time to learn it.
Cons:
So far none that I can think of. Hoping this trend will continue.

Pros:
It is easy to submit my timesheet while having access to it. Helpful when I need to request time off, the email grants is very beneficial. It has all my up to date information that is required.
Cons:
None I have come across. Overall a great cite and way of keeping all info together.

Comments: It's been excellent.
Pros:
The customer service is amazing, they listen and make changes to the software to make it a better fit for your business.
Cons:
The admin setup is a bit clunky, but they are working on streamlining this and their customer service is always there to help.

Before using Folks as a user, I had the chance to discover the employer platform!
It was very easy to implement Folks (Allié RH) and the support team is always available for its customers!
I recommend 100% Folks for companies who want simple tool with great features!

- Not all the features (add more criteria for employee reviews or e-signatures for documents)

Very easy to navigate and intuitive. I like the performance review module, you can see past evaluation and an make sure you are on the right track. It's also very easy to ask for a vacation day and keep track of your your remaining days.
Cons:
I would like to be able the track my time with more segmentation.

Comments: Bon en général, mais encore beaucoup à d’améliorations à faire qui seraient appréciés. On n’arrive pas à utiliser tout les fonctions du à de la difficulté avec l’intégration des données de notre logiciel horodateur.

Profile des employés, suivi des formations et certificats
Cons:
Intégration avec logiciels de horodateur, Limitations avec la création de l’organigramme, sélection d’employés difficile dans les modules de suivi de certificats et formations (pourquoi les anciens employés y apparaissent toujours?) On doit aller directement dans le profil de l’employé pour voir les notes et documents - j’aimerais pouvoir filtrer pas ces derniers (ex. On a ajouté une catégorie allergies/restrictions alimentaires mais on ne peut pas voir ce dernier en liste)

Comments: J'ai implanté le système en 2021 et la solution est excellente pour les PMEs

Adaptation à la réalité de la gestion des RH au Québec Le suivi des accidents de travail, de la loi sur le dév des compétences et la discipline La personnalisation possible des titres, de la structure, etc Le service client

La connexion avec Evolia n'est pas parfaite Les KPIs pourraient être personnalisables et mis à jour

La force de FOLKS
Comments: C'est une fierté de faire affaire avec une entreprise québécoise qui a à coeur ses utilisateurs!
Pros:
La facilité et la convivialité de consultation du site, le service à la clientèle hors pair, l'esthétisme de l'outil!
Cons:
Nous utilisons FOLKS pour effectuer nos statistiques de fin d'année. Tout ce qui pourrait améliorer l'exportation des données vers Excel serait un plus! En ce moment, nous ne pouvons pas extraire de données directement dans Folks. Un jour, peut-être? :)

Un beau logiciel en devenir!
Pros:
Le plus gros avantage est le soutien aux utilisateurs, leur rapidité de réponse et l'ouverture aux améliorations. Folks est déjà un outil très complet, mais l'amélioration continue est très appréciée!
Cons:
Il manque, selon moi, quelques outils de base qui rendrait l'outil plus facile à utiliser, comme une meilleure gestion des fichiers des employés.

Un très bon logiciel pour une PME
Pros:
Gestion de plusieurs domaines des ressources humaines dans un même logiciel (accident de travail, formation, évaluation de performance, ect.) De plus, le logiciel est très facile d'utilisation et permet de donner des accès très en détails selon nos besoins.
Cons:
La gestion des documents en pièces jointes dans le dossier d'un employé puisqu'il n'y a pas d'organisation possible, les fichiers sont seulement listé en ordre dans lequel ils ont été téléchargés. Cela rend la consultation des documents très compliqué.

Un outil qui nous permet d'être productif !
Comments: Les membres de Folks sont très proactifs et toujours à la recherche d'améliorations. Ils sont à l'écoute de leurs clients et le service est rapide lors qu'on a des questions ou des problèmes à propos du logiciel.
Pros:
Toute l'information concernant les ressources humaines se trouve au même endroit et est disponible pour tous les gestionnaires même si nous avons plusieurs emplacements d'affaire. Cela nous permet de gagner du temps et d'avoir l'information rapidement.
Cons:
Je suis juste déçue que notre système de traitement de la paye ne soit pas compatible avec Folks mais peut-être un jour...
