Cleargage

Comments: Over all we are happy with them I am not sure if their pricing is comparative to other systems as I haven't compared fees in a while.

Pros:

It is a very functional payment processing system. It's relatively easy to use. It gets a little confusing if you are setting up payment plans at times, but with more use im sue it's easy.

Cons:

No one ever reached out to us about staying pci compliant and what we needed to do regarding that or also about upgrading our readers against fraud.

Patient Care Finanancing

Comments: Have used them in a prior practice for 5 years. When started my new practice 8 years ago, it was one of the first services I set up for my new clinic. Don't know what I'd do without it!

Pros:

It allows patients to concentrate more in their care and less on how they are going to afford it. Also makes it easier for me to collect without having to "hunt people down" with invoices, calls, etc, to pay for services with EFT. Patients are comfortable with an automatic payment that they can figure into their monthly budgets.

Cons:

The wording on some of the financing pages can be hard to follow for patients. Also, on the last page, there is a line for signature for the patient and a witness, however there's not a place for date.

Cleargage is easy to use

Comments: Personally I would rather go with a company that notifies us with changes to accounts such as suspensions

If you understand how to use cleargage it is easy to use

Billing made easy

Comments: Setting up automatic payments has been super helpful, allowing patients to set up payment plans has been a huge plus.

Pros:

We use cleargage at our medical practice and the ability to seamlessly send invoices and take payment without having to open three other windows has been wonderful. Customer service is also usually very responsive and overall this has made our lives much easier!

Cons:

Our patients often think the emails are spam, I'd like to have them look more professional in future.

Comments: ClearGage has helped reduce small balance write offs.

Pros:

Integration with our EMR/PM system, Aprima. Processes are automated and I don't have to remember to upload or import files. Payments are automatically posted.

Cons:

Would like to be able to have multiple patients in the same payment plan. Currently each patient has to have their own payment plan so if a guarantor/responsible party has multiple children they could have 2 or more payment plans. We end up using the payment plan feature in our EMR/PM for this scenario. It would also be nice if we didn't have to reach out to support in order to have patient permanently removed from texting campaigns.

Why go anywhere else

Credit processing thru 3rd party?

Cons:

never got a follow up about what ClearGage all provides. Talking about merchant services and how much I am getting charged for taking card payments. Not really happy but do not know who else I can go with that works with my EHR

It starts to add up.

Comments: The patients who can only pay $100 a month for 18 to 24 months eventually add up to a significant sum as they accumulate month to month. 8% percent to let them keep up with all this is well worth it.

Pros:

set it and forget it, easy to set up - never touch it again

Cons:

I've not found an easy report to determine my loss percentage. In other words if you give them for example 10 patients which owe a $1000 each you know that they can't possibly collect $10,000. Not easy to determine how much of the 10K is actually received.

Excellent software to enhance billing protocols

Comments: Overall great experience. Cleargage allows us efficiently manage billing functions of our office in a modern way. Patients can pay any balance if needed by texted/emailed links.

Pros:

Integrates very well with drchrono. Allows our team to efficiently calculate amounts owed for insurance based medical services to which deductible/coinsurance applies. Excellent e-statement function that autoposts to patient account.

Cons:

Some features were not intuitive to me like generating detailed report of transaction/billing fees that we pay to ClearGage.

Très bonne solution de facturation et de financement de soins aux patients

Pros:

D'une part sa facilité d'utilisation car il suffit de créer un compte, de choisir un plan de paiement et de confirmer la transaction et d'autres part sa flexibilité puisqu'on peut modifier le montant ou la durée des paiements selon ses besoins et sa situation financière.

Cons:

Le manque de transparence sur les frais , la difficulté à annuler les contrats et le service client qui est souvent peu réactif.

Comments: Es una útil herramienta para hacer más eficientes las tareas y automatizar el sistema de pagos de los pacientes lo cual alivia la carga de trabajo

Pros:

Me da la facilidad de configurar pagos en automático y que los pacientes configuren sus propios planes de pagos.

Cons:

En ocasiones se torna el servicio un poco lento en ciertos momentos del día.
