Excellent tool
Pros:
Cognism is super easy to use and very accurate.

Alternatives Considered:
Shady business ethics when trying to cancel
Comments: It was fine. Not great, not terrible. But the shady business ethics to leave is unacceptable.
Pros:
We received limited value from the solution in 10 months. While the product is easy to use, the price point and capabilities versus other products in the marketplace is limited.
Cons:
It is May 24th and our renewal is on July 19th. Our team met prior to the holiday weekend and made a decision to move off of Cognism. They are trying tell us that we had to give them 60 days notice of cancellation to cancel. We had no knowledge of this requirements and I question their business ethics along with the value of their platform for the price they charge.

very consultative sales approach and seemed driven by creating value for us and finding the right version of the solution that best matched our needs as a business; rather than the salesperson being focused on their target and commission. Also the UX on the app is lovely and the data is very accurate.
Cons:
I really had no qualms using Cognism. I would suggest it could integrate with more systems but then I work at a company full of many disparate systems.

What I appreciate most are the intelligent search features that enables me to find and contact the most relevant contacts in my territory. The data quality is outstanding and I can say with confidence that Cognism is indispensable in my daily tasks.
Cons:
It has happened a few times that data is inaccurate but this is to be expected and not a major problem.

What I like best about Cognism is its ability to empower us with accurate data, AI-driven insights, and a comprehensive toolset, all supported by exceptional customer service. While I understand the value proposition offered by Cognism, I find that the pricing plans may be relatively high for smaller businesses or startups. Adjusting pricing tiers or offering more flexible payment options could make the platform more accessible to a broader range of users.
Time saving, trusted B2B service
Pros:
Cognism's database provided our team with consistently reliable contacts each equipped with verified direct dials and emails. Their export tool which intregrates with our CRM hubspot makes creating companies and contacts a simple and fast procedure.
Cons:
There was some instances where cognism's data had not been updates as was revealed when some contact's on cognism were not congruent with their information on linkedin as recent job updates were unaccounted for.
Couldn't work in my role without it...
Comments: I use Cognism everyday and my overall experience is that I wouldn't be able to be as successful without it. So it is a very important tool.
Pros:
The quality of data available for companies that I couldn't find elsewhere and having the chrome extension tool when searching LinkedIn.
Cons:
Occasionally some data is out of date, for example a specific contact may no longer work at the company.
Transformed our team
Pros:
It gives us a tool that we never thought would exist. In the past our methods of lead generation was unstructured and was slow. We relied on someone picking up the office number. Now was have increased our connection on calls massively, which has then increased the number of bookings created. Alongside this, because conversations have increased, it has allowed us to streamline the team.
Cons:
Not really a massive issue but having to log in every now and again can be frustrating, but this is a small trade off to keep the system safe!
Great for Sales Execs gaining contact data, tricky to lead gen accurately
Comments: Happy with my usage, relatively basic, just wished it had more numbers of directors within smaller businesses.
Pros:
Jumping the ladder to decision makers is key for quick prospecting and speaking to the right people. Finding out other people within the business who do different things.
Cons:
Accurately creating lead gen lists, it collates more data than you'd like.
Data platform with accurate data
Pros:
It has a huge bank of majoratively accurate contact data for contacts who can often be critical for a campaign/project.
Cons:
Some of the prospector search functions are a little underdeveloped
Amazing Software
Pros:
Cognism is super easy to use! I don't know what I would actually do without it. It makes my job 10x easier as I would have to constantly call through the office instead of being able to phone the CEO's mobile!
Cons:
Sometimes the direct dials can be the HQ of a prospects old company. That being said if you just put the number into google you'll quickly know if it is or not, so its not a big problem at all.

Cognism offers you everything you need from quality to quantity of data for your lead generation needs. Data is updated frequently and allows you to reach out to your target audience, whoever that may be.
Cons:
Industry titles could be more specific through sub categories, but this is something they are already working on and it is in beta
Amazing tool
Pros:
Tool is amazing & better data accuracy. I use cognism in my day to day activity. It helps with better data accuracy & easy to find the contacts within an organization based on simple filters
Cons:
Nothing the tool is easy and straight forward
Cognism lets me get hold of contacts that would otherwise be impossible to reach
Comments: Cognism makes it a lot less likely that I will get stuck calling the same GK/office number for multiple contacts which improves my connected call rate and, by extension, deal generation.
Pros:
I can find mobile/DD numbers for senior contacts much easier than before. I use it very frequently when prospecting but also if my existing contacts have changed/left the business. The web extension is a great feature since I can find numbers via a LinkedIn profile.
Cons:
Sometimes (about 10-20% of the time) the mobile numbers will be wrong or might be a personal number which a person doesn't want to be called on.
Good UI, good for BD
Comments: Solid platform, really helped us book more meetings.

The emails could be a little funky if they're not green tick verified, but not much you can do about that .
