Great Value and Easy To Use

Comments: Absolutely fantastic. Easy to use and understand. The JenesisNow GUI is pleasant and customizable without being overly complex. I did not feel like I was needing to re-invent the wheel.

Pros:

The ability to store documents related to an individual policy is very important for our agency. We have a number of clients that have multiple properties and other solutions did not allow this feature. We can also "tag" each policy with its address and simply hover over the record to see which property the policy relates to. I also have to mention the ACORD forms are spectacular.

Cons:

New and renewal commissions reports are not available unless the underwriting company is downloading comp through IVANS. There is a work around with manual calculations but an automatic process would be better. However, my understanding is that this is in process and may be resolved in the next few months.

I have used other management systems before, and Jenesis is by far the easiest with the most options for the price

Comments: I have used Jenesis software both Hosted and Web versions over the past 4 years. The easy of use with the web version is awesome. The customer service team is simply amazing. They are always there willing to help you in any way you need.

Pros:

Jenesis web version is super easy to navigate, to put in information and fond everything you’re looking for fast.

Cons:

The web version has nothing that I don’t like about it, I can only say the hosted version, is not as good.

Comments: been very positive and a time saver. useful in keeping records of many carriers in one spot

It organizes everything in one spot. It has been an awesome file system for me without having to have all the thousands of files we used to keep on hand.

doesn't always update the records. I have to manually put in the info sometimes

Real time and I love the fact that the notes stay in the system for others to see. Working remote makes this very important.

This is not applicable. From time to time, we may have a minor issue, but the team clears it ASAP

Locating certain customer (ie dependents on a policy) and having to use dashes and choosing the phone number option to locate someone.

Comments: Jenesis makes it easy to understand your business while also keeping you organized and up to date on tasks and renewals as they come in.

I find that the dashboard is easy to navigate and also that each process has been simplified

The only item I'd like to see is a widget on the dashboard that shows total policy volume in premium dollars and have it categorized by policy type.

Comments: We had a backlog of over a year of business that was not being maintained properly due to our previous management software being unsupportive and hard to use. All of that changed when we switched to Jenesis and their team members have helped me get back up and running within a month or so.

Pros:

Jenesis Software is by far the best Agency Management System I've found. I looked high and low for options that were user friendly, thorough and affordable. Jenesis checked all of my boxes and provided premier customer service.

Cons:

I haven't found anything that I dont like about Jenesis yet.

Why would you need anything else?

Comments: I've been an agent 3 for years. Before that, I worked in IT for 12 years. So the ability to find or create the info needed is huge.

Pros:

This program gives us everything we could possibly ask for in a customer management database. There are some features I've never even used. We can search multiple ways to find a customer. You can view or create any report you'd ever need.

Cons:

Having the option to resize the fonts would be great. I could shrink the footprint of the window.

Comments: Jenesis is very efficient in keeping all of our clients information organized and in an easy to use format.

Jenesis is very easy to use and if there are any issues, there is always someone to help right away.

The switch from Jenesis classic to web based was a little bit of a transition, but overall not too bad. We do miss the rater in quote control.

I love that I am able to scan all important documents and categorize them for each insured, and the fact that I can create suspenses to help keep track with important to do's

Comments: The system has helped the office become more organized and also with the media option of less paperwork to file.

Pros:

Awesome system to help keep work flow and office in order. My clients love the text/emails for their birthdays and the reminders for their policies.

I would like to have more companies compatible with the system, especially life/health and commercial

Comments: Since we are not a paper free office, I am sure that we are not using all of the wonderful features offered by the program. However, for what we use it for, it works wonderfully!

Pros:

The ability to look up a client with multiple options. Phone number being one of the best!!

It will time out and kick me out of the system a couple of times a day

Easy to Use JenesisNow software and training

Pros:

JenesisNow looks very streamlined - I love how you can customized your space! It also is easy to use (specially vs the Classic). Training and support staff are awesome!

Cons:

None so far, merging information, uploading documents and using the software seems very easy to use.
