About Microsoft Edge
Microsoft Edge is a web browser developed by Microsoft that allows users to access and view websites.
I like free things because I don't have enough money to buy anything. It is fast and reliable.
Edge is based on chromium and is unable to catch up to its competitors, Edge is still in development and still not very stable, and is prone to glitches and crashes.

Edging fast browsing
Comments: Overall, it a positive experience it does provide a fast and light work for me
Pros:
I really like the lightness of the program, and its integration in the Microsoft own ecosystem
Cons:
It does not really have any support on extension programs
Best browser for business - don't be fooled by Chrome
Pros:
Edge is a fantastic browser - fast, stable, robust, customizable, not littered with ads like Chrome. Any organization using the 365 ecosystem should block all other browsers and just have employees use Edge, especially with all of the customizations and security controls available to IT.
Cons:
Just that it doesn't have the brand name recognition of Chrome, so employees think it's a downgrade. But it's not - also uses the chromium technology! With copilot integration it keeps improving. Learn and use it.
Not the best option, but it's good
Comments: I don't usually use Microsoft Edge for my daily browsing. I mainly use it to modify PDF files that you can't modify in other browsers, only with apps.
Pros:
I like that Microsoft Edge has AI features integrated in the app, and that you can also modify PDF files with basic features.
Cons:
I don't like the fact that you cannot uninstall this browser on Windows devices. Also that it takes every single open tab as a different app (when you hit Alt+Tab).
Alternatives Considered:
Overall good web browser
Pros:
I like the amount of control you have with intune and group policy. It’s typically quick. It syncs data to even mobile devices.
Cons:
I don’t like the autofill suggestions always being there. Can’t figure out how to get rid of specific things like when there are typos or something I don’t want saved. This could be a security concern because passwords could be displayed unintentionally if a password was accidentally entered into a wrong field and cached.
Alternatives Considered:
Edge the best listening to customer feedback
Comments: I use this browser, whether it's professional or leisure staff.
Pros:
When you have a problem with the browser. You can reproduce it and send it to Microsoft.
Cons:
Microsoft doesn't collect enough performance and latencies whether it's clicks.... .
Microsoft Edge is the best free PDF Viewer
Comments: I mostly use Microsoft edge as a pdf viewer. For that it has been great.
Pros:
Microsoft Edge as a pdf viewer and editor is amazing!
Cons:
The tying in of Microsoft edge to windows, Copilot, and other Microsoft products has led to bloat that is unnecessary.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Microsoft Edge and all the customizations
Comments: Overall Microsoft Edge has a lot of pretty cool gadgets to customize your browsing how you like. There is nothing I can complain about since switching over from Chrome. Once you use it for a few days you will love!!
Pros:
What I like the most about Microsoft Edge is similar to chrome and you can customize your tabs down the side of your screen instead of at the top and also put your tabs in groups also LOVE the Read Aloud option.
Cons:
Nothing I really dislike about Microsoft edge. Nothing I have seen so far from switching from Chrome.
Exploring Microsoft Edge: Fast, Elegant, but Not Perfect
Comments: On the whole, Edge is a perfectly fine browser, but sometimes the sidebar tab system feels weird. The vertical layout of tabs within the sidebar might not be liked by users, primarily because it is a far cry from the usual top bar that most people are accustomed to. This might affect the navigation flow for some, but essentially it comes down to personal preference.
Pros:
The perfect blend of soft accents and the effects that create a smooth gradient make it visually enjoyable to browse through. The subtle colour use creates a tranquil polish atmosphere, giving the browser that feel of premium quality. Again, the dark mode theme is also pretty well done, showing one a comfortable viewing while those preferring lower brightness do not have to compromise on visibility.
Cons:
Probably one of the most confusing features of the sidebar is the tab system. For instance, to some people, it is a very unintuitive thing and messy. The vertical tab layout might not fit everyone's workflow; while some are used to having a traditional tab bar at the top of the window, this can be a problem. Navigation may feel less clean on smaller screens as well because of how the sidebar cuts across the screen.
Great Chrome Alternative
Comments: Overall, I have had an great experience using Microsoft Edge.
Pros:
What I like most about Microsoft edge is that it's is a great alternative to chrome, but with all the security provided by Microsoft. The mobile version is easy to navigate and set up. I also like how Microsoft Edge will also automatically group tabs together.
Cons:
What I like least about Microsoft Edge pertains mostly to the mobile version and I feel like it could allow more personal customization options, such as maybe giving the option of changing the color of the tab groups.
A fast and reliable web browser
Comments: Edge supports all the websites without any issues and also allows to select from multiple themes like dark or light theme offering more customisation to the user interface
Pros:
I have set it up as my default browser. Edge saves history of closed tabs even if you close it all by mistake it can all be opened in 1 click. The vertical tabs options helps to keep the tabs organised more organised and easily accessible
Cons:
Its a great browser no issues faced till date
Edge is underrated and deserves all the appreciation
Pros:
I first used microsoft edge about 3 years ago when it replaced the old internet explorer which is infamous for having some serious problems. I was always a Chrome user and out of the blue, I decided to give it a try to Microsoft Edge. To my surprise, it genuinely outperformed Chrome in every single way using less resources and battery overall. That still holds true to this day. I use my laptop quite often to get my work done and I don't always have power outlet near my place so it is very crucial to use a browser that isn't power hungry. Chrome in comparison used way more power and ram astronomically high resulting in poor battery life. I also encountered a variety of bugs and errors on Chrome which is frustrating. Features on Edge are useful and unique and I regularly use it. I would recommend everyone to use Edge as it is really underrated.
Cons:
Frankly, I don't have any bad experience with this lovely browser. Maybe, there were a handful of instances but I didn't really notice them. I would say the browser is speedy and don't get laggy.
Microsoft Edge Review
Comments: Overall experience with Microsoft Edge has been very positive because of its good integration with other Microsoft products.
Pros:
The best thing about Microsoft Edge is that it is very nicely integrated with other Microsoft products. This makes it very easy for my day-to-day work.
Cons:
I think Microsoft Edge needs to improve its search results. They are just not as good as Google.
Microsoft Edge is the best browser.
Comments:
I use Microsoft Edge in a daily basis.
It was pre-installed in my HP laptop that I have from 2016 and this was my first chance to use the Microsoft Edge browser.
Since then I didn't change it.
I was using in the past all the well known browsers but I was not so satisfied.
Pros:
I like the security that provides to me. Is a very fast browser and until now I didn't face any problem. The best browser in all aspects.
Cons:
I didn't like the search engine of the browser, I always use altenative options. Otherwise I cannot find something else negative until now.
Microsoft Edge
Comments: Microsoft Edge is the best alternative for a browser that does not consume resources when used so the laptop battery will last longer.
Pros:
Edge is well optimized and fast browser. Really like it because it can be installed on all platform and cross device synchronization works very good.
Cons:
It does not feel as fast as Chrome, but is faster than all other browsers.
Default browser
Pros:
Now that internet explorer isn’t used Edge has become the default browser for Microsoft. I guess I have to use it.
Cons:
Have had no problems with the system. It works perfectly capable.

Cons:
The one thing i really don't like about microsoft edge is that it has limited extensions while it has its own extension store but its not that much. And on of the thing is that it uses bing as a default search engine so sometimes i have to change the search engine to someother.

"It's one of the best browser, easy to use"
Comments: I have tried all browsing engine but this one is most easy to use and accurate. It's really better than all.
Pros:
I love how fast it help to find information accurately. It has great feature of bookmarks that help me easily access of that websites. It provide easy in language.
Cons:
Lots of distraction because of advertisement. The snipping tool may put a stop to capture your screen, there is only a option ie, manual capture.
Microsoft Edge is a good browser
Pros:
Microsoft Edge is a decent browser. It allows me to browse any site easily, and its Bing and copilot integration are very helpful when I do online research.
Cons:
It often copies the style of chrome and not tries to improve and stand out. It is pushy about becoming the default browser on Windows. The extensions available in Edge are not as robust as Chrome’s.
Fast and Smooth Chromium Based Browser
Pros:
Microsoft Edge is one of the best browsers to use in 2023. It is smooth, takes up less RAM, and can get the job done. It provides all of the essential tools required, such as password management, tab management, private browsing, favorites and bookmarks, import and export browsing/password features, etc. It also provides access to multiple themes and extensions, including the ones from the chrome store.
Cons:
Although the browser is customizable through settings and third-party themes and extensions, it looks very ugly out of the box. The home page is cluttered with ads, news, and links that many might not like out of the box, and the top menu section also feels overwhelming with a lot of menus.
My Take on Microsoft Edge
Comments: My overall experience with Microsoft Edge is nice and it feels good using it as one of the browsers I use on my PC and laptop along with Google Chrome.
Pros:
What I like most of Microsoft Edge is when I use it, I can go to my browser and even to continue where I left off if I close it out. I also like the layout and how the default home page gives weather, news, and the rewards store to earn points when you use Edge.
Cons:
The one con I do have in mind is when I go on to Edge, it keeps saying "use as default browser." I wish there was a way to permanently get rid of it and not notify again and again.
