Pros:

The least liked aspect of the CodeAchi Library Management System, as highlighted in the review, is the software's behavior during data entry. Why I enjoyed using CodeAchi

Pros:

The Pie chart and bar graph representation of reports.

Cons:

The program fit perfectly in my library so no cons on the software

The inexpensive and dead simple library management solution

Comments: This program gave me what I needed at the price I wanted and at the level of simplicity I was looking for. My staff are all non-native English speakers in China, so the nonstandard English doesn't bother us really.

Pros:

This product allowed me to do exactly what I needed to do. I was migrating from an even more simple system that allowed people to check out books using a barcode scanner. I am not a regular library, and all my book data was on excel sheets. I was able to take my excel data, reformat the columns and upload all my books with their barcode numbers into the codachi system. I was immensely relieved when I uploaded the 5000 books in my lending library and then was able to scan the barcodes that were already there, and viola! It worked! Exactly what I needed for my neanderthal tech and librarian skills.

Cons:

1) The program language is not in standard English. 2) The reviews online were all fake, which made me initially distrust this product. I mean look at the other reviews online. You know when someone claiming to be from the USA or South Africa, uses completely nonstandard English, that their marketing team in India was actually behind it. 3) The program is slow to start because of how it has to connect to the internet in order to start up. Also this means if my wifi goes out, so does my library system.

Easy solution for our school

Comments: We are extremely satisfied with the CodeAchi, I would personally give 10 out of 10 to CodeAchi support executives, they are very good and supporting! Whenever we asked for help they almost instantly helped us. We were using excel to maintain our library records and our librarians were not happy as they had to maintain a lot of things manually. I remember I saw this product from google and initally was not sure about this product. My colleague and Librarian took a demo back then and we got the feeling that this is it! And we purchase the software! Since this is our first software I can not compare with any other software, but for us this is a perfect solution which we don't want to change in near future (as long as CodeAchi provides same quality services). At the end I would like to thank CodeAchi for their solution and support. This software is highly recommended if you have a school Library. Thank you.

Pros:

The features that has definitely helped us manage our small library using this software are category creation for books, importing books and students using excel sheet, tracking location of books, and barcode printing.

Cons:

We are using this software for last 3 years and so far we are happy with the software. We have some Linux machines, but you can not use the software from Linux that is one of things CodeAchi must work on.

Comments: We use it for the registration of our library books for students, which is really helpful and important.

Pros:

I am not using it myself, so cannot go into detail. But as far as I know it offers al the functions we need.

Cons:

I became interested in this software, because I saw on some website (not from your company) that it was freeware. Then your company told me it was a one time payment. After that I discovered that to receive customer service, we have to pay yearly a serious amount. But then we had inserted already a lot of data in it, so basically we had no choice than to continue with it. It still feels like we are tricked into it. A yearly payment of 40 euro or something would feel reasonable (because of some customer care and necessary updates), but not the current price.

Overall it is good software

Comments: I think for me it is very good experience. If I am layman then this interface is very helpful for understand it's working.

Excellent after sales service and great product

Comments: We can definitely recommend this software for any library. We are extremely happy with this product and the support team of CodeAchi .

This software worked great to upgrade the conditions of our library. management can take report and they can now see the improvement in few clicks. Excellent software and great success tool for a librarian.

Not as such, we are using for more than two year now and even some smll issue was resolved by support in few hours.

Comments: Our every exception from our library software were fulfilled by CodeAchi LMS. We are now more productive in the library and tracking of the items become easy. CodeAchi has provided a really great support during installation of his software. We didn't faced any problem till now and really deserve the 5*. Thank you!

This software have a really easy interface, I think any one can handle this software without any difficulties.

CodeAchi Library is best at putting records in an orderly manner

Pros:

Due to internet connectivity Challenges, we needed a stand alone library automation software that is not dependent on internet. We installed Codeachi Library Management in Windows system where patrons access all the resources locally. The catalogue user interface has typical fields; author, title, ISBN, and subjects, that the c ommunity library members find farmiliar CodeAche has helped to remove duplication of work in the technical service department. To generate a list of Library members, we simply imported data from Administrative MS Excel files We customised the categories of books to include fiction and non fiction. Categories of patrons include students, trainers administrative and support staff.

Cons:

Limited number of books and learners to record is not call. Library is a growing organization

Excellent low budget product

Comments: This is very good software with an excellent budget, excellent support system, very simple UI, and easy to use.

Pros:

the price of the software is excellent, thankfully there are no hidden charges. And I like the support team and the way of their support.

1+ year experiece with CodeAchi

Pros:

-I love the recent updates; ability to put an email in copy when sending notifications and ability to remove a book out of the lost list after it has been found.

Cons:

-If there was a short cut to making book copies (not with generated codes), like importing book copies, it would be great. Making copies of books took me weeks?-The variables used when sending notifications do not function properly. I think they should be reviewed.-It would be great if one can print barcodes subject wise.

Comments: As of now I don't much appreciate yet since I am working out in categorizing my data.

Pros:

Easy to manage the collection I think especially when I already finish in categorizing the data.

Cons:

I fine difficult to transfer the files since my data is not compatible with the program.

Loved the software being Librarian

Comments: We've been using the app for over a year, but due to lockout, we weren't able to use it for a few months this year.
The process of purchasing the software was very easy, and the Codeachi team provided all of the assistance that we needed to get the software up and running in our college.
Codeachi gets a thumbs up for making our library smarter.

Pros:

The software's accessibility is one of its advantages.This software is very simple to understand and use; I've used other software in the past, but I considered codeachi to be the most basic while still providing all of the features that any Polytechnic college library software should have. The support is also a plus; the CodeAchi Chat team is extremely attentive!They are extremely knowledgeable about their items. Most of the time, assistance was needed due to my lack of knowledge in a few areas, and I wanted to ensure that anything I did was fine. I dislike reading boaring manuals, which is why I spoke to them the majority of the time.They are never irritated by most childish questions, which I find amusing. But then I discovered that they already have some really helpful YouTube videos that answered all of my questions.

Cons:

The only disadvantage I've discovered so far is their email support; despite forwarding their email several times, I never received a response from them. However, as I previously said, their chat support is extremely sensitive and attentive. If you have a problem, instead of emailing them, try chatting with them straight away!

Disappointed

Comments: I am not favorably impressed with CodeAchi. If you would actually fix the printing problem, I may change my mind.

Pros:

We appreciate the ease of entering our entire library into the CodeAchi program. We paid one of our librarians to enter the books into the system this past summer.

Cons:

Support from CodeAchi has been very disappointing. I was informed that barcodes could be easily printed. After more than 6 months, CodeAchi has still not been able to fix the problem so we can print bar codes for our books. Our system has shut down multiple times because it couldn't properly update. It took three weeks for someone from technical support to fix that problem. If we had not spent all of the money to have our books loaded into the system, I would be looking for another library program. You incorrectly market your program - CodeAchi does not have the capabilities to print on any printer and your technical support is slow and takes way too long to correct problems.

This is a helpful software

Comments: At our school we adopted this software in 2016, since then we have seen not much problem regarding management of the library using CodeAchi LMS. I personally feel this software is a great tool even for part time librarian like me. So, I honestly recommend this software to everyone, thank you!

Pros:

1. Easy Interface - As I am not a full time Librarian, I was worried whether I can handle this software or not, but the easy interface helped me a lot. Honestly, I dint found any difficulty while using this software. 2. Support Service - CodeAchi support team is really friendly and they have answered even my childish questions whenever I contacted them. Chat support is very good, also they are good on call support as well.

Cons:

1. There should be a forum for discussion regarding this software. As some time that can help other user facing same problem. 2. Nothing much for us.

So far, I haven't found anything. This is our first chance at using library automation software.

Small School Library

Comments: Our School is k-12, 140 students total. Our Library has 10,489 books. I didn't know exactly how many books we had until, CodeAchi. We had an expensive and basic Library check in and check out computer system. I was very disappointed in the old system. I am very excited about using CodeAchi. I have only begun using this system but I already love it. My favorite, I can issue Library Cards with a student photo. Something these kids have not experienced. Thank you, CodeAchi for caring about our Libraries. And creating an amazing program without all the expense. We can now use the money we saved to buy new books.

Pros:

I appreciate the detail. Your online and telephone staff. When ever I needed help they are there. The other company asked me to refer to the manual.

Cons:

It took awhile to input the data. But it is due to the other Library system we had. It was too basic, it would not allow me to create a spread sheet with the data it had stored. I tried, our IT tried, CodeAchi staff tried for three days. It just wouldn't. Its not really a con on Code Achis part.

Excellent software product for library

Comments: We were introduced to this software at a district level meeting held at our DM office. We procured this software and we have found this software great for usage in our library.

Pros:

Every thing is positive for us with this software. Especially, entry of data, Editing student record at once, Group control and report generation. Pricing is really reasonable, and price structure is dependent on size of the library which made procurement easy from the management level.

Cons:

Trial version should have no limitation over adding items.

He represents your company so well. My husband and I own a business, so we know the importance of customer service. Yours is the best!

The software offers templates and databases that make make the product very customer friendly. I LOVE your customer service. Representative [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is thorough, patient and very knowledgeable.

Most of my frustration is due to my own limitations with understanding how such systems work. :)

Comments: We are satisfied with this product. We have released official review in our latter pad officially. Our main problem was to find and arrange books which this software helped quite well.

Pros:

Very easy to use this software. Just download and install makes us free from migrating system. Helped on data migration from old software.

I like the ease of use of this software. We use it for my daughter who is 5. She wants to be a librarian so has over 500 books and wanted a library system setting up. This software has turned out to be the easiest to use. Even my 5 year old can use it
