Pros:

Especially during the c-19 shutdowns, EasyTithe was a blessing to our church.

I can't really think of anything we don't care for with EasyTithe

Pros:

Love how easy it was to set up and implement. When we started, we began from scratch. The folks at easyTithe helped us establish a merchant account and walked us through the process from start to finish! After having used the service for several years, I can honestly say that easyTithe provides EXCELLENT customer service. From the initial setup, to assistance with questions on usage, to helping with specific transactions...easyTithe has always been top notch!

Cons:

Wish it was possible to designate to multiple funds thru text giving...in the same text message. Also, would be nice to allow ACH transactions via text giving.

Good until the last year

Pros:

Ease of use on church app online and text give and at one time the customer service

Cons:

Their customer support is really, really, really bad over the past several of months it is the worst I have dealt with you open tickets and it takes over a month with no response and when they do respond they just close the ticket without completing the request. I have had major problem after major problem from deductions from wrong accounts, not depositing correct amounts, depositing donations to accounts that are not ours, not reflecting donors contributions and a list of other issue. I have spoken with customer reps they have passed me up to a manager they said would help to expedite. there was several occasions were I waited on hold for over 3 hours, finally I reached someone. We are currently shopping for over providers

Great software for smaller churches

Pros:

I like that users can utilize this software through a computer, through an app and via text. It also gives users the ability to add pictures, link your children's/spouse giving records to yours and to run reports to see how much you've given through out the year.

Cons:

I don't like that you can't tell it what you're giving into via text. For example, if I want to give tithe, I can't say tithe. I just text an amount and that's it. It defaults to tithe. Doesn't seem to have much flexibility in that area.

The Name Says It All

Comments: Overall, it's been a great experience. It was easy to incorporate into the website and users seem to be able to pick it up simple enough to do their giving.

Pros:

The name definitely says it's all...very easy to use as a giver.

Cons:

Maybe the cost. It seems like this one at some point became a little more expensive than another giving software I recommended to another church.

Easy Tithe Company Continues to Take Money From Our Church

Comments: We have used Easy Tithe for a couple years. We have never been really impressed with their service. Recently (January), we have tried to have them close our account since those who used to use them to give to our church no longer attend. Each month I send a help ticket and talk on the phone with their staff and they tell me the account will be closed. Then each month they take more money out of our bank account. I'm sorry it has come to me having to publish this to try and get them to close our account. I would not recommend Easy Tithe to anybody. I view the difficulty of simply trying to get them to stop taking money and close our account as proof they are not honest with their business. Beware of this company.

There is nothing I like about the company.

Not receiving the complete support from your donors.

Works well when it works

Comments: We still have a few parishioners who like to use the kiosk so it takes care of that. Support is really helpful but a little slow to respond. Overall, its a decent system but it needs to be fixed so iOS updates don't "break" it.

Pros:

When it works, it works really well. Easy to set up events and categories.

Cons:

Whenever iPad gets an update, kiosk software stops working and needs to be reinstalled.

EasyTithe Review

Comments: Overall this is a fantastic app that every church or organization should have. We could not rate it higher!

Pros:

We were a new church and this tool made it extremely easy to begin. The customer service was extremely helpful and walked us through how to set up an account. We use this for almost every online donation and it is a must-have for every organization.

Cons:

It would be helpful if there was a way to customize reports of giving. We have recurring givers and those that give after a special event or fundraiser. Having easier access to this capability would help us respond to them appropriately.

An EASY and CONVENIENT way to tithe!

Pros:

This is a product that my church uses. In this day and age, many people do not carry cash or checks on them. This is a wonderful option to promote tithing.

Cons:

I really do not have any dislikes for the product.

Best On-Line Giving Platform

Pros:

It is easy to use and very affordable. I like that they provide you with your own text-giving phone number.

Cons:

Customization is a little tricky but once you get the hang of it, it's not bad!

Ongoing issues with incorrectly charging donors and poor customer service response

Pros:

It enables our donors to give online.

Cons:

Our donors are continually double charged. We have had multiple donors whose credit cards were declined in December - according to EasyTithe - but multiple charges are showing up in their statements. It took more than a day to get a response - and then only because we remained on hold for over an hour and a half. The customer service person was helpful - but not proactive. If we can tell him which donors have the issues, he can fix them. We are expected to find all of EasyTithe's mistakes? We have many donors who tried to give in December and were declined (inappropriately). We found donation (because a donor contacted us directly) that their website showed no record of. The apathy we have experienced is incredible. EasyTithe is making our year-end donor process a complete nightmare and they are inconveniencing our donors. This is highly unacceptable and we are looking for an alternative.

4 1/2 stars. Not perfect, but an excellent option with great customer service and support

Comments: I'd recommend EasyTithe in most cases. Their setup is quick, current pricing is reasonable and text message add-on costs less than $75 a year. As previously mentioned, if text donating ever is streamlined, this will be an unqualified 5 star organizational offering. Recommended today with upside potential for future version updates.

Pros:

Easy Tithe is a service primarily focused on the solicitation, tracking and organization of donations to a church. Our church has about 100 families / giving circles with 250 or so parishioners in total. The set up process was smooth, quick and backed by excellent customer service and startup support. The dashboard is easy-to-use and intuitive. Even the forms, which can normally become a UI quagmire, are largely elegant and changed easily. Some of the screens have slight confusion, but nothing near the issues I've seen with other software solutions. Customer service is top notch. Communication is clear, concise and understandable without tech jargon. The fees are reasonable, although not always the lowest due to the current competitive marketplace for donation payments.

Cons:

The user-friendliness, while good, isn't perfect. It is challenging to make a donation via text - if you try to give money, and let time lag between the request and clicking on a link (where you have to finalize the donation), it times out. Also, said link must be clicked twice - not a huge deal but could confuse older donators who then stop the donation thinking that something is wrong. For the same reason, I can't give 5 stars on user friendliness - instead of just typing in "$5" and offering a text-centric confirmation, donators have to go to a browser screen to finalize, which can be a bit of an inconvenience.

A Great Program Overall

Comments: A great Christian company that offers an easy and effective way to receive funds as well as create forms and correspond with donors.

Pros:

The customer support at Easy Tithe is hard to top! We have had great success with the online chat feature as well as the telephone support line. In addition, their site is organized and easy to maneuver.

Cons:

We recently tried to create a sign up form with multiple conditional sections on it. The form was not formatting correctly, and when we contacted Easytithe support, we found that we had added too many conditional sections to the form and only one or two tops were allowed in order to prevent the form from crashing. Small kinks like this seem to arise from time to time, but they have not been make it or break its for us. We have just had to be creative a find a way around them.

Easy Tithe Giving

Comments: Overall I would say we are pleased with easyTithe and the components we use.

Pros:

As a donor it is easy to set up and use. It is pretty straight forward. We just added the texting and it is a good feature. I like that you have a window of time that you can remove the donation if you need to make changes.

Cons:

On the administering side, there have been some bugs that have been worked out that were a little frustrating. Sometimes the donor names do not show up on the batch reports, and I have even had a situation where the deposit at the bank did not have a batch report to match it. Having said that, I have not had any of these issues for several months. Some thing to still work on: the batches sometimes lag several days behind the actual deposit. Also contact information is difficult to find on the website. For some things it is much easier to speak to an actual person instead of going back and forth on a support ticket.

Easy Tithe has truly made it easy!

Pros:

Having other options for giving besides in-person is so important. The ease of use and the ability to make donations online and by mobile are the things I like most about this software. I feel like the cost is fair for the services we are receiving.

Cons:

While there are web buttons for use, it is still hard to incorporate those unless you work with web developing and are familiar with it.

Customer service is non-existant

Pros:

Program is simple to set up with many options. Cost is reasonable. Information for church launch is provided.

Cons:

I am actually writing this review hoping to get attention to a customer issue. I contacted customer support 3 weeks ago and am still waiting for a resolution. I have actually only been responded to one time in which they said they were looking into the issue. Members are getting very irritated, I have communicated that to customer support, and that doesn't seem to speed anything along. Church members waiting 3 weeks for an answer to where their money is simply won't work. When there are no glitches, the product is convenient.

I love easyTithe

Comments: My overall experience has been wonderful! On the outside chance there is a problem, they are there and ready to help. Their introductory coaching is superb, and e-mails are answered promptly. They are truly a company that cares about you, making sure that you have everything you need for success, and is very willing to go the extra mile to help you.

Pros:

I love the ease of using this product. I don't use it daily (I'm not in the office every day), but I check it several times a week to keep up with donations that have come in. Compared to the service I was using before, this is so much easier to use. Just a few clicks, and I have the information I need--whether it's a contribution that has come in during the week or an end-of-month record for transferring to my membership program. I highly recommend easyTithe to any church or organization that is thinking about this type software. It is at the top in my book.

Cons:

Sometimes it will take several days before we actually get our money. On speaking with one of their representatives, I think the problem might lie more with our bank than with easyTithe.

Marissa's easyTithe Review

Comments: My overall experience is fantastic. I love using easyTithe to give my weekly gift. It is easier than any other site I have been a user of.

Pros:

The thing I like most about easyTithe is the ease of use this software has. The company has made it so easy to tithe weekly. Each institution who uses easyTithe is given a phone number associated with the software. This allows the users to easlily give by text. So when I first gave I texted the amount I wanted to give to this specific phone number and it directed me to a site to type in my CC information so it could charge me every time I texted the number. Now when I want to give all I do it go to the text chain, type the amount and where I want the gift to go and it goes straight to our finance department.

Cons:

I have not run into any hiccups with easyTithe. I am only a user so I have not seen the back office side of things but I do know this is the easiest system our institution has used.

My experience with easyTithe has been excellent thus far. The customer service team is fabulous .

Comments: We received the benefit of introducing our organization, congregation, volunteers, supporters and others to a convenient, safe, user-friendly program for financial giving that has opened the door for our church to offer quality service that provides convenience in giving that many are looking for in a church today. Secondly, it allows an excellent management and integration system to further advance our tracking and efficiency.

Pros:

I like everything about the program so far. It meets the needs of my organization and allows us to become more efficient in our outreach. It provides the ability for us to professionally and efficiently track online giving while also establishing another level of online outreach with those whom we engage with through the service. It provides a 2nd level of opportunity to reach new potential giving partners through marketing also. The software provides opportunity to continue building our online presence and offer secure and safe convenience to our team.

Cons:

Since I don't understand the thoroughness of what can be done with the reports, I will have to say that I am not sure. Based on what I have experienced so far, I am not sure it will provide me with all I would like to do in reporting information. My opinion is out on it until I can go deeper in my knowledge of reports.

Awful customer service, manipulative policies.

Pros:

The mediocre user interface.

Cons:

Terrible customer service when asking for help resolving issues, always long waits when you call, and then they usually just say "open a support ticket." Support tickets take weeks to resolve. Their online portal is really dated. They also have their own expensive payment processing company, deceptively called "First Data Client." This is not First Data, it is an Easy Tithe owned merchant. I know this because I went to First Data to get a quote from them on payment processing, they could reduce my processing fees by 25%, I contacted easy tithe to change and they indicated that if we use our own payment processor they would still take a 1% cut of all of our donations, why you may ask? I don't know, there is no additional cost to Easy tithe to outsource merchant services, they just want your merchant processing money. This made switching over no longer viable.

Good product, but internal process issues and glitches

Comments: We have used EasyTithe for the last two+ years, and overall I appreciated the ease of setup and that it was possible to embed on our website, and was relatively happy.
The major problem we have had is with glitches in regards to the processing of money. Specifically EasyTithe doesn't submit batches of contributions to our bank account for random and indeterminate amount of days. We will receive a confirmation email from someone making a contribution, but that money won't hit our account for multiple days, so that makes tracking giving on a timely basis challenging.
Overall, I think EasyTithe could be a very effective product if they would adjust and fix this major issue.

Reporting for church admin is terrible. They loose money and do not get the donor information to you correctly. Terrible customer service. Do not trust your church or peoples money to them. Making a switch to another company asap. I would give them 1/2 stars if I could.

Great Software

Comments: I have had an overall positive experience with Easytithe. It was my first experience with digital giving and easy easy for our church to use.

Pros:

Ease of use! This is a great product and solution for churches looking to transition to digital giving.

Cons:

Limited in some of the features. Some of the other companies have more to offer, but with the price and feature combo, easytithe is a good solution.

Easy way to tithe and track how much I've donated.

Comments: I have been able to tithe to my church, track my yearly donations for tax purposed, and am also able to set up reoccuring donations if I want.

Pros:

EasyTithe is easy to download and store payment information into. It has security features as well that let's me know my payment info is safe. It also allows you to set up reoccuring payments.

Cons:

Being able to send money to my church is the only functionality that this software offers.
